Speakers bio
Deborah Roth MA, PCC is a Life & Career Transition Coach, Relationship Coach, and Interfaith Minister who has operated her own business, Spirited Living™ since 1998 and has spent the last 30 years coaching, training and speaking in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, for large corporations and small businesses. She specializes in working with overwhelmed, under-nurtured women (and a few good men!), co-creating practical and magical strategies to achieve fabulous lives, work, and relationships.

Deborah’s workshops and books focus on a number of themes including work/life balance, career transition, practical spirituality, women’s empowerment and self care, and managing life’s big changes. As an ordained Interfaith Minister, she facilitates powerful, unique wedding ceremonies and other life passage rituals, as well as convening monthly women’s circles and a popular yearlong Women’s Spirituality program. On a personal note, she’s been dancing with the same extraordinary man for over 30 years and they’ve raised 2 incredible, feisty "city boys" (now in their 20s) in New York City.

She’s an accomplished singer, seamstress, and writer, and loves spending time practicing vinyasa yoga every day, walking or cross country skiing (weather permitting!) through the various Big Apple parks, and playing in the dirt in her little community garden plot.

Description of session:
Content and Outcomes
I began my study of ritual (which later became the foundation of my Master’s thesis) at the same time that I first encountered coaching 15 years ago. I was intrigued, then delighted, to discover the correlations between the two, and have woven them together ever since. During our time together, you will:

learn the basic structure and ingredients of transformative ritual and how they correspond to coaching principles
discover how to create the sacred space within which "magic" can occur
how to use the power of symbols to manifest your intentions
powerful, practical ways to ground your dreams in reality
If possible, please bring a candle and a small object you’d like to imbue with a special intention and we’ll create a little magic of our own!
