"Bringing Wholeness", Miki Yoshino

Speakers bio

Miki is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach based in Japan. Her life purpose is revealing wholeness that is already there, to the world. She has offered the joy of living freely and authentically in any kind of culture for almost five years. She has helped people who need to manage life's pressures.

She strongly believe that "wholeness is only experienced through diversity". Her first experience with diversity occurred when she was 4 years old after her family moved to western Japan from eastern Japan. After entering kindergarten, she was picked on because of her "strange" Tokyo dialect. Because of that, she has always been interested in exploring and celebrating diversity through studying French and English, volunteering for handicapped people and foreigners in Japan. Also she was strongly attracted to a diverse community and she went to a graduate school to examine that.

She found the same philosophy regarding diversity and wholeness within The Coaches Training Institute and therefore became a life and business coach. In 2009, she took part in a leadership program in Spain because she sought a diverse community. Through that program, she could meet people from 18 countries and realized her life purpose. To align with her life purpose, she started to host the "Global Conversation Circle" with people from eight countries; the U.K., Spain, Sweden, Germany, Japan, the U.S., Canada and Brazil since March 11.

Title of Session
Bringing Wholeness
Let's reveal the world which was already whole !

Format of session
Workshop (one speaker, very interactive)

Description of session: Content and Outcomes
This is a special version of Global Conversation Circle. Also this workshop was created from Miki's experience of the Tsunami and Earthquake on March 11 in Japan. What you will experience through this workshop as a global citizen is a reflection of a larger world. You will be aware of the importance of "staying" rather than "understanding". We stay in the present together, so we can experience and overcome misunderstanding. We can be curious about how we are different. And we can share how much we are different. It supports all of us to see myself in you and yourself in me.

After this workshop, you will pause and reflect in your heart and body, before you think and act in the usual way. Because we will walk in each other's shoes through this workshop, we can share how much we are different and how easy or difficult it is for us to understand each other. And that is why we need each other. Life itself is a treasure. We need to live fully and take responsibility for other living things as a human being. For that we need to transform ourselves.
