Connecting People

As part of my role as ICF Chapter Host in Gothenburg I am connecting coaches who want to develop their coaching skills in what we call triads. Two coaches coach each other and get feedback from a third coach. Often there is specific focus on certain skills or habits.

Nice to think that this could be made into a Global activity too. hmm, now who wants to coach and be coached by a professional coach, for free?

Contact me and I can connect you to other like-minded coaches.

Dreaming of 2010

From time to time I get a reminder that the effects of the GCC are still rippling around the world.

From time to time, I realise that I haven't yet taken advantage of the many contacts that were made on 9th September. Somehow the events of normal life have taken over again, and all my time is taken up in getting to and from work. And, although what I am doing every day is just what I want to be doing (= coaching), I am left with the sense that there are many opportunities generated by the marathon phone call on the 9th that have yet to be developed.

So, I will make a plan that includes contacting the hundreds of coaches who were involved around the world, and asking them what they see as the next step for them and the GCC. Maybe they will come back in 2010? Maybe they will speak?

Will you?

The Circle is Almost Complete

As October gets under way with autumnal mornings and longer nights I am reminded that the GCC is still having an effect on the world.

Several coaches have approached me to ask if they can speak at "the next Global Coach Conference", and I have begun negotiatons regarding intellectual rights plus tools and opportuntities for audio-video recordings. The theme for the conference seems very clear "7 Days to Change the World" is both broad in its scope and a stimulating title. These things and others will be discussed at the CTI Social Action Niche; where many of the ideas for the first conference were hatched!

I look forward to looking back on 090909 and forwards to Sept 2010
