The Day Before

As I look at the clock I see that there is about half a day left before the start of the GCC.

Glowing connections
Before me I see a massive network of glowing connections. People (including coaches) will be connecting around the world. In the first three hours we have connections between Sweden, Canada and India. In the next three hours we move to Singapore, Australia and Trinidad. After that the next few hours are with Sweden, South Africa and Australia, followed by three more hours with Sweden, Brittany and the UK. Finally comes three hours with USA, Sweden and UK, followed by the final hours with Canada, Australia and Sweden.

Lots of Sweden, eh! Well we are the centre of the world - kind of.

What outcomes do I expect?
  • Stronger and more real connections
Certainly there will be stronger and more real connections between the people who have spoken and listened to the workshops and seminars. Listening gives a lot stronger connection than just reading about a coach or project on the net. There will be enrichment of and more commitment to ongoing projects, plus courage for some people to start or continue projects for change.

  • Coaching becomes "normal"
I see that the deep, honest, and supportive communication that exists between coaches, and between coaches and their clients becomes normal. People in all walks of life have the attitude and approach that coaches learn to use.

  • Generosity abounds
As we realise how to share what we have on this planet, we become more generous, and thereby we all receive more. We create together whatever we need; and share it.
What outcomes do I have now?
  • Sure and certain knowledge
What's coming out of running this conference is the sure and certain knowledge that I do have the ability to run a global conference, with minimal investments in terms of time and money. That knowledge has put many of my Gremlins to sleep.

  • The Urge to Do More
I'm still eager for more, I want to do this again. I want to run a conference in 2010 and for a whole week. I want to make the process of selecting speakers, and booking sessions much easier than this year. I want to put the lessons to good use. Next time "bigger and better", unless I come up with something even more audacious.

  • Generosity works
From the outset I have given freely of my time and money, what little there was. In return I have received more than I could ever have imagined possible. My cup filled and brimmed over in the first month. I know, from a place of deep certainty that generosity works.
There's more, and now it's time for tea
One more job to do then I can relax for the rest of the day

Hear you during the GCC
See you after the GCC
Yes, there is life after the GCC
